Close to 50 students of sixth, seventh and eighth grade of the Dichato School and 2 teachers visited the Marine Biology Station of UdeC. The tour included a visit to the laboratories and aquariums of the station.

 

Students of Marine Biotechnology Engineering and Aquaculture and students of Marine Biology from the “Introduction of Marine Biodiversity” course guided the activity. Due to the huge interest of the scholar community it was agreed with the director of the station Mr. Erasmo Macaya to undertake talks on topics of interest during the year in the installations.

 

The director of the school Mr. Guillermo Torres and teachers received the news with great joy, which will enable to bring new knowledge to young people that will enrich their learning experience and learn best practices for our environment care.
