COBQUECURA

Cobquecura is a national heritage zone and, along with its heritage buildings, they are an attraction that is important to the tourism economy and also are part of the culture and identity of the residents. In Cobquecura, Recupera Chile works to preserve these heritage buildings. Building projects have included a surf school/tourism center, an artisanal craft center, massage/health promotion center and brewery, as well as assistance in restoration of adobe buildings.

 

DICHATO

In Dichato, Recupera Chile has assisted in the rebuilding of:

• Restaurants

• The town newspaper kiosk

• A vegetable and flower garden at the school

• Input into the design of a Nautical Community Center for children

 

PERALES

In Perales, building projects have also included the reconstruction of:

• Hostel

• Store

• Construction of 10 greenhouses

• Construction of 4 greenhouses in small rural hospitals in Coelemu

• Water treatment project
